Sylvie Munroe founded Expo Media Inc. in 2006 . The opportunity presented itself  following the departure from Montreal of the multinational consumer and trade show company, dmg world media, where she had held the position of Regional Director for Eastern Canada.

  With the closing of dmg world media’s Montreal office, Expo Media acquired the rights to the Quebec City Summer Holidays Show and the Montreal International Tourism and Travel Show. EXPO MEDIA was also awarded the responsibility of managing and producing one of Canada’s largest exhibitions: the Montreal National Home Show. In 2007, the Toronto-based Marketplace Events commissioned Expo Media to manage the Ottawa Home and Garden Show.

   Previously, Sylvie was Manager of Operations and then Exhibition Hall Director at Place Bonaventure for 12 years. Munroe is known for her diligence as an administrator and her rare business sense.

   Today, Sylvie Munroe is at the helm of 12-employee business in Montreal, and she also acts as consultant on Toronto’s Fall Home Show and National Home Show.

In November of 2010, Hélène Côté was named Expo Media's  Vice-preisdent, partnerships and sponsorships. Prior to this nomination, Hélène occupied  the position of the Managing Director of the National Home Show in Montreal, for six years. She joined the team in June 2004 supported by an impressive roadmap at the level of her accomplishments as manager. She carried out important mandates within various companies (private and governmental) on the level of direction of sales, customer service, the marketing and the development of new business strategies. On top of her new role as Vice-president, Helene still holds the role of managing director for the Montreal National Home Show, one of the major events of Marketplace Events and Expo Media.. Throught the years, she has also successfully finalized strategic agreements with REMAX Quebec and the Laurentian Bank, the official presenters of the show, among others.

Before 2004, Helene occupied the position of director of sales and customer service at La Societe du Vieux Port, in Montreal and Centre des Sciences. She played major roles in the world of 'start-up' companies such as FIDO, Metronet, ATT Canada and Vidéotron Télécom.

Helene is equipped with a strong capacity to transform a problem into solution and to work several projects simultaneously. With all these remarkable attributes, Helene contributes an important asset to our team.

Emmanuelle s'est jointe à l'équipe du Salon National de l'habitation de Montréal en novembre 2007 à titre de conseillère en exposition. Elle cumule plus de 8 années dans le secteur de la vente et au sein de diverses compagnies de marketing et communications tel que les hebdos Le Versant, Musique Plus ainsi que l'agence Speed. Elle s'est vue confiée différents mandats à titre de directrice de comptes nationaux et projets spéciaux. Ses expériences passées, son dynamisme, ainsi que sa facilité à communiquer avec les gens sont des atouts précieux pour la compagnie et pour l'ensemble de notre clientèle.
