The mission of the Conseil des métiers d'art du Québec (CMAQ) is to represent, support and develop the field of fine crafts in Quebec. As the only organization representing all professional craftspeople in Quebec, and in compliance with Law S-32.01, the CMAQ has for many years been taking concrete action to preserve Quebec's cultural heritage, pass on know-how and built heritage craftsmanship, and promote these trades. The CMAQ is a benchmark organization that collaborates with the entire heritage community, including the Ordre des architectes du Québec, the heritage departments of the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications, the Ville de Montréal, the Centre de conservation du Québec, the Sociétés d'histoire, Héritage Montréal, Action Patrimoine and others.Product Images:
